We created this blog as a vehicle that will make communication between Real Magic students and practitioners possible, and help people support each other in The Great Work.

Many people are out there working alone. As Sylvia becomes more focused on writing and less available for individual readings, please support each other in this difficult passage through the ego jungle. Ask each other questions. Answer questions. It is an opportunity for advanced students to mentor the students on the Path who are just beginning their journey.

This is a time on earth of polarity and restructuring. It is a time of growing community as opportunities to come together are presented to us. Let's make use of this time to give each other truth and blessings on the Path. Thank you.

Escalating energy

As the new year begins, I am struck by the feeling of energy building. In Sylvia's newsletter she talks about accelerated polarity and increasing unrest. Do you feel it? Certainly I have noticed my Point A's (fear, lack, self doubt) creeping in, but also I feel excitement, conviction and sense of responsibility to be a part of the creative process for a better planet. How wonderful that we have this RM community and the Hermetic teachings. Thank God and thank you Sylvia. There are many times I catch myself and say things like "Whoa, there was your ego." And I know I have work to do. But to be aware and to notice it and then choose something else, well, hey, I can do that. And so again I am grateful for another way of responding, reacting and being.

Because I feel that what we have been taught, what we have been learning in the Great Work, is so vital, I am really excited about the upcoming year and what may unfold for all of us. I am looking forward to learning and reconnecting with the group in April and thereafter as we stay constant and "keep on keeping on." I will also be holding a book study group In Portland starting later this month. So if you know of anyone local who may be interested, you can give them my contact info.

    Thank you, Laura for this inspiring New Year's statement of Intention. It is truly going to be an amazing year. Your testimonial gives me faith that we can authentically become a Force for Good in the world as we continue to learn and grow in this Real Magic Community.

    Hi Laura...
    I can relate to what you are experiencing - a quickening of sorts. Polarity for me at this moment feels more palpable then it ever has at both ends. Both the astral energy that I want to transmute and what potential energy is to be revealed. Maybe it is just me, maybe it is the environment, I don't really know, but it is very good...I read this quote tonight, I think you will like it:

    Thank you, Tanya, this is one of my favorite quotes from the Kybalion - I have it written in one of my blank books!
    When I say it is going to be an amazing year, it is not rhetoric, it is knowledge! I look at all the amazing Real Magic adepts and feel awed by the deep transmutation you have accomplished in your lives.
